Permissions

NetworkCalc aims to be minimal and transparent about permissions. Below is the complete list of permissions the extension uses or may request.

Currently used

storage — Stores your settings and (optionally) supporter license key locally.

contextMenus (optional) — If enabled in a future version, this would add right‑click shortcuts (e.g., “Send IP to NetworkCalc”).
activeTab (optional) — Only if adding features that act on the current page at your request. Not required for core calculators.

We do not request broad host permissions (e.g., "<all_urls>") and we do not read your browsing history.

Any new permission will be declared in the Chrome Web Store listing and explained here before release.
